Episode 69.2 Frost/Nixon Part 2. We rejoin the action as the interviews begin, the wily veteran politician determined to retain control of the narrative and to try and rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the American people. Frost’s research team, serious journalists, are desperate for their man to pin the ex-President down, ask some tough questions and elicit some form of admission of guilt but Frost himself seems more concerned about viewer numbers and attending celebrity parties.

  1. Gentlemen,
    I lent my wife the headphones so she could hear those first few bars of the lead-in song to Frost/Nixon Part 2 and she guessed correctly that it was Stevie Wonder, Feel it all over. So now everyday I’ll be looking in the mailbox and saying Please Mr. Postman where’s my Absolutely Nothing (War, Edwin Starr – I had to look that up – I have a tin ear).
    As always, 5 stars, thoroughly enjoy your podcasts.

    1. It’s a good answer which I initially thought was wrong, as the track I used was Sir Duke, Stevie’s tribute song for Duke Ellington. But I know learn that it’s also called Feel It All Over. So Mrs P is right but not the first to get it. Thanks Mr P!
